Gérard Guerguerian est un spécialiste du droit international, en particulier dans le
domaine des fusions/acquisitions, des Joint Ventures et du commerce international. Il a
mené les négociations et structuré des acquisitions significatives tant aux Etats Unis
qu’en Europe. Au cours de sa carrière, il a exercé les fonctions de Vice Président Exécutif
au sein de plusieurs sociétés multinationales européennes et américaines.
Gérard Guerguerian a mené des recherches approfondies en droit international
principalement axées sur les relations Arméno-Turcs sur lesquels il a rédigé plusieurs
ouvrages et articles et donné de nombreuses conférences. Il est l’auteur de « Les
différends arméno-turcs, ou la quête de justice au regard des principes du droit
international », Paris, ed. Sigest, 2011, 190 p. ; « Nagorny Karabakh, entre sécession et
autodétermination », Paris, ed. Sigest, 2017, 229 p. ;
Il est diplômé de Sciences Po. Paris, et en droit international de l’Université de Panthéon
Assas. Il est également licencié en Psychologie de l’Université de Paris Descartes. Il vit à
Paris.
Gerard Guerguerian has practiced international and corporate transactional Law, involving international
investment and trade, international trade disputes and negociations. He has also negotiated and structured a
significant number of US and European acquisitions and Joint ventures. He has served during his career as
Executive Director and Executive Senior Vice President of major multinational European and US based
corporations.
Gerard Guerguerian has written and lectured on International Law topics relating primarly to
Turkish/Armenian relations and published numerous articles in that respect. He is the author (in french) of ‘
The Contentious Armenian/Turkish relations under International Law, and ‘ Nagorny Karabakh, between
Secession and Self Determination’ . Member of the Paris Bar, he has dedicated his expertise to the armenian
issues from an Intarnational Law perspective.
He is graduated in political sciences from the Institute of Political Sciences of Paris, and in International Law
from the University of Panthéon Assas in Paris. He also holds a degree in Psychology from the University of
Paris. He is based in Paris
